ENTERING MALAYSIA
ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENTS AT THE KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA) FOR NEW STUDENTS
(A) WITH APPROVAL LETTER FROM MALAYSIAN IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENTPlease follow the following instructions:
Upon arrival, proceed to the Immigration Check Point. Please take note that if your plane docks at the Satellite Building, you will have to take an Aerotrain to the main Terminal Building where the Immigration Check Point is located.
The Aerotrain will arrive at Level Four of the Terminal Building. Take the escalator down to Level Three.
Once you have arrived at the Immigration Check Point on Level Three, DO NOT queue up with the rest of the arriving passengers. Kindly wait for NLC officer at the waiting point shown on the map. Please do not move away too far from this area.

REMINDER: DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS TO ENTER MALAYSIA
(a) Immunization Certificate
Residents of South America and Africa are required to possess a valid immunization certificate for Yellow Fever. Residents from these two regions are therefore required to get the vaccination and the immunization certificate for Yellow Fever not less than ten (10) days before they enter Malaysia. The health regulations of Malaysia require those arriving from these two regions without a valid immunization certificate or before the inoculation period to be immediately quarantined for a period deemed necessary by the health authorities at KLIA.
(b) International PassportPreferably with at least five years’ validity
(c) Visa
if regulation in their home country requires students to obtain a visa before leaving the country, the students should make such application at the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Consulate Office. For this purpose students are advised to bring along with them to the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Consulate Office the “Letter of Approval for Foreign Student Studying in Malaysia” issued by the Immigration Department, Malaysia. If regulation in their home country does not require students to obtain a visa before leaving the country, the students may proceed to Malaysia without a visa. A visa will be issued to the students after arrival.
(d) Letter of Approval for Foreign Student Studying in Malaysia.The officer from NLC will bring along the original approval letter to meet foreign students at the Immigration area at KLIA.
(B) WITHOUT APPROVAL LETTER FROM MALAYSIAN IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT
